My Dear Families,
It’s a New Day, what a Beautiful thing.
I am Thankful for You.
I’ve been thinking lately… how do I write a lil something, based on my experience, that could help the people of this community streamline the path towards their goals and purposes.
And so I decided to share a simple yet important part of my creative process.
It’s a very basic, fundamental step in my work.
And it’s all about… Interest.
Check out this definition from the dictionary:
Interest: (noun) a feeling of wanting to learn more about something or to be involved in something
What are my true interests in Life? What am I passionate about and willing to put the effort forth in order to know?
The answers to these questions form the guideline which directs my approach to work and Life at large.
Let me give you an example. Allow me to direct your attention to the image below…
Amongst many things, I am highly interested in the elements of Nature; The Jungle, Animals, Mountains, etc.
I’m also interested in Magic, Surrealism and Fantasy.
Thus, it is quite a smooth process for me to create the image you see above.
Yes it takes time, energy and skill, but I go at it with a sense of joy and without hesitation; all because I’m working in areas of true interest to me.
I’ll give you another example to make the point, this time in the opposite of my true interests…
I’m not interested in cars; I’m pretty happy with a straight up dependable truck. Therefore you’ll probably never finds me investing any resources on that topic.
Think about it… how can You be great at something that You don’t have a genuine interest in?
I believe Your chances of success are much better if you focus on the things that truly matter to You.
Just wanted to leave that suggestion with You today. I strongly feel that this could lead to more fulfillment in Life, help focus Your attention a bit more and streamline Your path towards Your goals.
